Chinese Culture Days Returning to Missouri Botanical Garden


The Missouri Botanical Garden’s Chinese Culture Days event officially returns Saturday, April 22, and Sunday, April 23.

During the weekend-long celebration of Chinese culture, visitors are invited to sample authentic regional cuisine, view special demonstrations, and enjoy the performances. 

“Having been involved with the Chinese Culture Days festival for 8 years, I am so excited about this year’s celebrations; the dance, music and costumes will surely wow all our visitors. This festival is truly the pride and joy of the whole Chinese American community here in St. Louis,” Min Liu, the Chinese Culture Days chairperson, said in a press release.

dmission for the event is $16 for adults, $8 for MOBOT members, $5 for children ages 3-12, and free for member children. 

Since 1996, the Garden has collaborated with the Chinese Culture Education and Services Foundation to produce an event to celebrate Chinese culture. Hundreds of community volunteers work towards creating a weekend filled with colorful Chinese pageantry, art, music and dance, history and legends, and of course, wonderfully tasty food.
