The World’s First Forestry Industry Conference was Held in Nanning China

The city of Nanning in China will hold the first world forestry industry conference under the
framework of the China-ASEAN Expo event.

The conference is expected to be the largest international forestry conference in recent years, and
also the highest-level conference, Wang Junzhong, an official at China’s forest industry institute,
said at a press conference.

Activities at the China-ASEAN Expo will include conferences, exhibitions and forums.
More than 1,000 key companies in the forestry industry, both from within and outside China, will
attend the China-ASEAN Expo forestry and wood products exhibition, featuring products from
across the industrial chain.

Covering five hectares of land, the exhibition will be held in 13 themed areas with 15 exhibition
halls.
